1. The lawn maintenance service agreement
period begins April 1 and ends October 31. (7 months)
2. Spring cleanup will be done as soon as weather permits in
April. The lawn will be swept with a Toro turf sweeper, then
mowed and bagged to complete the grooming process.
3. Lawns will be mowed weekly throughout the season. In dry
months where no watering of the lawn occurs, a weekly mowing
may be skipped to prevent damaging the dormant turf. Along
with mowing, areas along buildings and around trees and
planted areas and fences will be trimmed with power string
trimmers each week or as needed. Grass clippings will be
blown off sidewalks and parking areas. Debris, paper, cans,
bottles, etc., will be picked up along with our weekly
services. Excess amounts of debris pickup will be billed
extra.
4. Shrubs and hedge plants will be trimmed and shaped twice
in a mowing season. If additional trimming is requested, it
will be done at an additional per time charge.
5. Trees will be trimmed up to about 7 feet to allow enough
clearance for mowing and walking under.
6. Fertilizer and weed control will be applied three times
in a season. The first application in the spring will be a
crabgrass preventative with fertilizer. The second
application in summer will be a broadleaf control and
fertilizer. The third application in fall will be a
broadleaf control and fertilizer.
7. To help insure a weed-free lawn, an extra broadleaf
control application may be necessary. The cost for this
extra application is noted on the Lawn Maintenance Agreement
under Additional Services.
8. Fall cleanup will take place late in the season after
frost has slowed the growth of the lawn. The lawn will be
swept with a Toro turf sweeper, then mowed and bagged to
complete the grooming process.
9. Invoices for services performed will be billed on the
5th of that month and payment will be due upon receipt.
10. Note: Our services will be discontinued on any accounts
over 30 days following the billing. When the account is paid
in full all services will resume again.
